Leesburg Police Department Vows To Earn Back Accreditation
The Leesburg Police Department has been stripped of its accreditation. But, it's determined to gain it back. A 79-year-old Maryland man died at an area hospital more than a week after a Montgomery County crash, police say. Silver Spring resident Adolfo Cabrera has been identified by investigators as the person who did this week following a two vehicle-crash on Sunday, May 19. A 37-year-old Arlington man has been arrested for exposing himself and threatening to burn down his apartment building, police said. Officers were called to the 4300 block of Lorcom Lane where Isaac Meals had been on a balcony throwing items off of it around 2:45 p.m., police said. Porta-Potties Vandalized By Truck In Hunterdon County Park
Police are looking for a trucker who vandalized multiple porta-potties in a Hunterdon County park on Sunday, May 26. At 11:40 p.m., a driver in a maroon Chevy pickup truck with an engine hoist in the bed struck all of the porta-potties in Heritage Park, pushing one into a playground, Bethlehem Township Mayor Paul Muir said on Facebook. All of the porta-potties will likely need to be replaced, Muir said. A state police officer received two years of probation after pleading guilty in connection with a 2022 road rage incident in Chester County, according to the District Attorney's Office. Connecticut State Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a burning car. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 4 a.m., Thursday, May 30, on Roosevelt Drive in Oxford. A juvenile was charged with stabbing a 30-year-old man multiple times in an attack on Wednesday, May 29, in Worcester, authorities said. The attack happened around 1 p.m. on Sunderland Road.
